23 inches new snow since Sunday night. Seems like winter is back for awhile with a good base and excellent grooming on all trails. Trails are mapped and marked for self guided tours everyday from 9 am - 4 pm.
Frisco Nordic trail closures: Balfonz Blitz and Buzzsaw (double black diamond). At Frisco the Jody's, Olympian's Link, and Rush Hill are still open, as well as all other trails.
Ski and snowshoe tours available by day and by night with advanced reservations at both locations. Good snow conditions at both locations for a snowshoe tour through the woods or a cross country ski in the mountains. High teens to mid 30's mid-day. Trails are packed for skating and tracked for classic skiing.
The free sledding hills have re-opened with good coverage at Frisco.
Join us for a day of fun and festivities on March 28, 2009 for the Breckebeiner 60K Ski-a-thon to benefit the Breckenridge Outdoor Education Center at Breckenridge Nordic on Ski Hill Road from 7am to 2pm.
Thank you, The Dayton family
