Thanksgiving Weekend - The weather has been the best... with snowy and blizzardy conditions, and lower temperatures between 27-34 degrees, just right for the perfect storm to get us open for cross country skiing and snowshoeing. 6-8 inches of new snow overnight.

4Km of trails are open at Breckenridge Nordic - 9am - 4pm daily. Call: 970-453-6855 for info on groomed skiing, instruction, tour and more.

Good ungroomed snow on Peaks 6 & 7 to the destination huts, open for lunch stops and resting.

We have begun the snowmaking, and grooming process at Frisco Nordic. With a little more fresh snow we might have the teaching area and roads open by Dec 1st, The sledding hill is closed until further notice. The ski swap is still open at Frisco Nordic by appointment. Call 970-668-0866. In addition, Frisco Nordic will be offering snowshoe tours this winter by reservation.

The Instructor Rendezvous PSIA clinic has been officially moved to the Breckenridge Nordic Center 1200 Ski Hill Road for Tuesday, Dec. 2 & Wednesday, Dec. 3rd, 2008.
