All is well in Summit County, Co9lorado. Breckenridge Nordic is open with 6Km + groomed ski trails w/set track and skating lanes and good snowshoeing for self-guided and interpretive tours by reservation. We are taking lesson reservations, renting skis and snowshoes for all ages and have our ski shop open daily from 9am - 4pm.

We have moved the Instructor Rendezvous from the scheduled Frisco Nordic Center to the Breckenridge Nordic Center at 1200 Ski Hill Road in Breckenridge. Tuesday, Dec 1 we begin Self-Improvement/Teaching Classic and Skate clinics at 8:30 am - 4pm, and also on Wednesday, Dec 2nd. Frisco is not open for skiing or sledding until we make snow this week (cold temperature provided) or see another snow storm on the horizon.

We are open and skiing at Breckenridge Nordic Center at 1200 Ski Hill Road, Breckenridge, CO 80424. We have 2Km, skiing with skate lanes and classic tracks on the lower trail system and 4Km groomed skiing, plus endless snowshoe terrain open on the upper trail system on Peak 7 off of Ski Hill Road, by the Forest Service green gate.

Open everyday, including holidays, for ski and snowshoe rentals, lessons and snowshoe tours by reservation, and great family fun!

Visit our Frisco Nordic Center, open only for retail sales as our back by popular demand Annual Nordic Ski Swap continues this weekend from 9am - 4pm, Friday, Nov. 27th & Sat, Nov. 28th.

The sledding hills in Frisco are closed until we receive more snow.

Breckenridge Nordic is open Sat 21st & Sun 22nd from 9 am - 4 pm renting skis and snowshoes. We are offering

a short loop of covered and groomed trail with set track in our teaching area. Trail passes are $5.00.

Snowshoe Tours are booking reservations for group and private tours that will hike the Peak 7 Forest Service permit area where the snow is good now. Call: 970-453-6855.

Frisco Nordic is hosting the Annual Nordic Ski Swap at the Peninsula Recreation Area Sat the 21st & Sun 22nd from 9 am - 4 pm to benefit the Summit Nordic Ski Team.

Great ski swap and good snowfall over the weekend. We groomed BNC and had some training skiing, but we are not open for business yet. Lessons are by reservation and ski and snowshoe tours will be starting soon!

We are setting up for the Frisco Nordic Center Ski Swap to benefit the Summit Nordic Ski Team Fri 9-6, Sat and Sun 9-4.

We are taking check-ins Wed and Thursday 3-6pm and all day Friday and Sat.

Well it did snow yesterday about 3 + inches and some snow fell last night, and we did groom at Breckenridge Nordic. If a little more snow comes our way then we will continue to groom and might have skiing this week, at least on the teaching and training loops.

We are open today and Sunday, November 14 & 15 for the Annual Nordic Ski Swap. Don't miss this opportunity to check-in your new or used gear and upgrade before the season begins, or just come by and take a look at the discounted skis, snowshoes and related gear. This is a fundraiser for the Summit Nordic Ski Team.

It is snowing lightly and is anticipate to continue through the weekend. With 8 inches or more we can re-open trails at the Breckenridge Nordic Center, Frisco to follow shortly, snow pending.

Hello Skiers! We have had an amazing fall with wonderful warm days in September and blizzard conditions in October. Now it is November and the days are wonderful.

We groomed the easy and intermediate trails around the Breckenridge Nordic Center two weeks ago and enjoyed a week of good ski training. Right now we are conducting volunteer work days at the Frisco Nordic Center.


We are setting up for the Annual Nordic Ski Swap to benefit the Summit Nordic Ski Team. The Swap check-ins are Wed the 11th and Thurs the 12th from 3 - 6 pm, and all day on Friday and Sat. The Swap opens Friday, Novemeber 13th at 12 noon until 6 pm, and runs all day 9 am - 4 pm on Sat and Sunday.


All unsold items from check-ins and our rental and demo fleet get moved to Frisco for the following weekend. The weekend before Thanksgiving we will hold the Annual Ski Swap at the Peninsula Recreation Area - Frisco Nordic Center.
