Good Spring Conditions for cross country skiing at the Breckenridge Nordic Center 9am -4pm daily through April 18th,

and the Frisco Nordic Center 10am - 1pm daily through Saturday April 10th.Temps 30 degrees at non daily.

Trails are groomed daily with skate lanes and set track for classic skiing.

New snow will enable us to provide quality grooming through the 18th at Breck Nordic the In-Town Nordic Center at 1200 Ski Hill Road in Breckenridge. Full services are offered.

New snow last night until 9am this morning, 2 inches powder on Breckenridge Nordic Center trail system, and only 2 1/2 inches at the Frisco Nordic Center.

Spring snow conditions with 30 degrees at 10 am. Trails are groomed daily with skate lanes and set track for classic skiing. Frisco will be open 10am - 1pm through April 6th, but not likely later, Breckenridge will be open until April 10th, 2010, but new snow will enable us to extend that date up until the 18th. Winter like conditions with 20 degrees at 9 am. Trails are groomed daily with skate lanes and set track for classic skiing. Frisco will be open through April 3rd or longer based on snow conditions, Breckenridge will be open until April 18th, 2010.

It was pounding snow last night and it left us with at least another 3 inches to shovel and groom out at both locations.

In Breckenridge at the In-Town Nordic Center at 1200 Ski Hill Road we opened The Beaver Meadows (all but a short 1/2 Km by Josee's Cabin), The Colorado leading up to the Breckenridge Ski Resort, and Gluteous Max and Gluteous Min (BC trail access) up to Peak s 6 & 7,
All trails are open now and are groomed daily for the best possible product and conditions...just for you!

Snowshoe trails are mapped and well marked, single track Nature Scenic trails protected by wooded forest in most places at Frisco Nordic & Breckenridge Nordic Centers.

All Skier Services are still in full swing with Lessons, Ski Tours and Snowshoe Tours by Advanced Reservations by Day and Twilight.

Gene and Therese met 25 Years ago today at the International Ski For Light - 10th Anniversary held at the Frisco Nordic Center in Frisco, CO. The program still goes strong today with Colorado Regionals that were held at the Breckenridge Nordic Center on Sunday, February 7, 2010. We offer guide training to assist blind skiers on the cross country ski trails and host many programs for the varying ability levels of Nordic and in cooperation with the Breckenridge Outdoor Education Center in Breckenridge, that Gene Dayton founded in the early 70's.

Frisco Gold Rush celebrated its 40th Anniversary with festivities, events, fireworks, bonfire, treasure hunt for kid's, and ski and snowshoe events over Feb 6 & 7th. More than 550 people came out for the events to commemorate a fantastic history of skiing in Frisco. The Frisco Gold Rush is still the oldest citizen's event in Colorado and one of the largest as well.

We are gearing up for the 40th Anniversary Frisco Gold Rush events beginning tonight with a Bonfire at the Frisco Marina at Dusk and Fireworks at 7:30 pm, and with 6 events for Nordic and Snowshoeing and a kid's Treasure Hunt at 11:30 am at the Frisco Nordic Center on Sunday, Feb 7th.

We are open at both locations with great snow conditions (new snow this week and still trying today) for groomed cross country skiing and snowshoeing. Lessons, Clinics, Wax Shop, Retail, Ski & Snowshoe Tours, self-guided mapped and marked trails, destination huts, private, public and White River National Forest permitted trails.

We offer full services and love to teach people how to cross country ski and snowshoe on scenic Nature Trails. We groom daily with a variety of equipment and two new Piston Bully 100 snowcats to provide the best double set tracks and skate lanes possible with changing conditions.

See our multi-day punch pass rates for trail passes, rentals, performance equipment and lessons for the best discounted rates. Passes are good for one full year, are valid at three areas, and are fully transferable so anyone in your group may use them. Multiple punches per day are permitted.

Season Passes are discounted at the Early Bird rates for the remainder of the 09-10 ski season, and may be purchased at our front desk. Ask about Season Pass benefits.

Great skiing, mid-winter conditions with new snow last week. Most everything is open and well covered. Still working on improving the Black and Double Black Diamond trails in Frisco and opening sections of the Beaver Meadow in Breckenridge.

Double set tracks for Classic technique and cordoroy Skate lanes for Freestyle technique. Scenic Nature Trails for snowshoeing by self-guided or by guided tour avaialble. Ski Tours in Frisco on weekends and other days by appointment.

Breckenridge Nordic - 16Km, $14.00 discounted Adult and $9.00 Senior/Youth Trail Passes, to Cross Country Skiing and 12Km Snowshoe Trails available at 1200 Ski Hill Road the In-Town Breckenridge Nordic Center, with FREE parking and along the Free Ski & Ride shuttle route (drops off right at our front door) and on our 1,300 acre Forest Service ski permit area on Peaks 6 & 7 in Breckenridge.






We are open at both locations everyday, including all winter season holidays.
